Summary of Today’s Episode:
Last week we talked about our HAT organization, which is our grassroots team that works with their federal legislators (house/senate). Our hat team has State Captains and Congressional Leads, and today I’m going to tell you a bit about our State Captains. A State Captain is like the Mother Hen for each state. They are responsible for gathering each Congressional Lead (CL) in their state under his or her wings. The State Captain is there if a CL has any questions during their training modules and they show them the ropes until the CL is ready to fly. A CL need never feel alone or separated from the flock. If they are struggling with the training material or are unsure how to answer a question from their district’s legislative staff, their State Captain will provide them with guidance and support. State Captains are the go-to resource for members of their state’s HAT team!
The best part about the HAT team is that you are not alone! The HAT team helps you find your flock of people who love homeopathy. Being part of the HAT team means that you are part of a vibrant homeopathy community. Some HAT districts or state teams meet monthly or weekly to study the advocacy training material or just to socialize and support each other. Even though it’s optional, it’s really a wonderful way to connect with like-minded people.
