I am not sure who coined the phrase Not on my watch or where it originated. But on ships, the days and nights are divided into watches, into shifts. Each watch covers a set of hours in which the watch keeper is in charge, keeping watch over the entire ship. It is the watch keeping officer’s responsibility to monitor the ship and to keep it safe. So, the phrase, in this instance, Not on My Watch, means while I am in charge, I will not allow anything detrimental to happen, to take place.
Mothers have always had the responsibility of caring for and keeping watch over our families. And for homeopathy, we are the watch keepers, the watch keeping officers in this army of care givers. Mama Bears are fierce when it comes to our cubs, our families, our homes. We are the guardians.
Homeopathy is under fire and in danger of being regulated and limit my choice of my chosen paradigm of healing. As a Mama Bear and a Grandmama Bear, I stand watch, I guard to protect my rights to choose this medicine. I will not stand by and watch as Homeopathy is attacked. I will not stand on the sidelines while inaccurate and untrue statements are made to vilify an inherently safe mode of healing. It is my responsibility to act appropriately in this climate, in this season. And I do this by-

You can lay down and let this go down. Or you can choose to fight and say, “Not on my watch!” It is up to you. Join and say with me, Not on my Watch. Let us become forces to be reckoned with, the guardians of the watch for the generations to come. Join me as we become watchmen that never come off the wall, always fighting and praying. Become an army of watchwomen and roll this snowball to an avalanche movement.

- –Not on my watch will the proposed new guidelines become the legal regulation.
- –Not on my watch will homeopathic remedies be banned or removed from the market.
- –Not on my watch will homeopathic remedies become unapproved or illegal.
