2020 AFHC PLEDGE DRIVE

This year's theme: "Revolutionary Women in Homeopathy."

The 2020 goal is to raise over $10k in funds to defend homeopathy over these next few critical months.

We’ve created a unique set of special offers and prizes to help reach our goals and make the donation process fun!

We’ve coordinated 5 special speakers to celebrate our theme: “Revolutionary Women in Homeopathy.”

Our Progress from Day 5

AFHC's Goals To

Protect Access to Homeopathy

In the past few years, AFHC has made significant strides in bringing to the FDA’s attention, our concern over their treatment of homeopathic medicine. If it goes unchecked, the FDA will treat homeopathy as illegal. Together with you, AFHC will see that homeopathy is empowered. In the next few weeks, we have a significant opportunity to influence the FDA’s draft guidance, but we need your support to do it. It is our goal to empower homeopathy users around the nation to influence congress, contact their representatives, and organize to stand up for their health care rights.

I have a B.A. in Anthropology and Spanish (1970, University of Colorado), an M.A. in Education with emphasis on Bilingual/Multicultural Education (1977, University of Northern Colorado). I taught Spanish in my 20’s, then moved to Mexico and helped design an educational program for the Center for Educational Research in Mexico City. However, it was after giving birth that my life was so transformed that I was drawn to study midwifery. We moved back to the US, and I studied at the Midwifery Training Institute (1986, Albuquerque, NM) to become a Certified Professional Midwife. After returning to Mexico in 1987, I helped to found a People’s Clinic in Tepoztlán, Morelos, where I practiced midwifery and helped to train other women in their quest to become midwives.

Ananda Moore

Ananda is a homeopath, filmmaker, co-owner of Riverdale Homeopathy, and CEO of Welledy. She began as a profound skeptic of homeopathy, having learned about it as part of a university course. S She couldn’t understand how anyone could believe in such rubbish. That is, until a profoundly transformational experience while backpacking through India. After an initial encounter, where she felt dramatic relief from homeopathic pellets while dealing with a case of severe Delhi Belly, Ananda decided to visit an actual homeopath, for a proper consultation. The apparently miraculous cure she experienced after life-long depression changed her trajectory in life. She always knew that she wanted to dedicate her life to helping others, and instead of going to law school she decided to pursue homeopathy as a career.
