The 2023 fall Pledge Drive goal is to raise over $45k in funds to defend homeopathy over these next few critical months.
We’ve created a unique set of prizes to help reach our goals and make the donation process fun!
We’ve coordinated 5 special speakers to celebrate our theme: “Nurturing Health Naturally from Farm to Congress.”
As you may know, our organizations, Americans for Homeopathy Choice, along with our partner lobbying arm, Americans For Homeopathy Choice Action, are fighting to protect availability of homeopathic remedies with a consistent legal framework – Contrary to the recently passed FDA guidance that currently regulates this availability.
As part of this broader initiative, AFHCA is actively advocating for a legislative amendment to safeguard homeopathic medicines from arbitrary FDA withdrawal. This proactive approach aims to establish a clear and stable legal framework that ensures the continued availability of these remedies.
It is imperative to recognize that the potential consequences of regulatory shifts are not limited to one specific retailer, as evidenced by recent changes in certain marketplaces like Whole Foods. The decision to cease sales of individual tube homeopathic remedies at Whole Foods Market exemplifies how shifts in policy can impact consumers’ access to these remedies.
Donating to Americans for Homeopathy Choice Action specifically supports these lobbying efforts to protect homeopathy and ensure its availability. Your support is crucial in advocating for legislation that safeguards homeopathy and its users. Together, we can secure the future of homeopathic medicines.

Pat Aherne is a conventional farmer with an unconventional outlook. Pat is located on what is properly the last piece of farmland between Cork Airport and Cork City in the south of Ireland. He holds the title of being the last farmer in his parish of Ballyphehane, a once thriving farming community and home to the famous CMP Dairies. He owns a herd of 90 cows under the prefix AnnaMaria (named after his two daughters).
Both sides of Pat’s family have been farming for well over 200 years and Pat is the third generation on this particular farm. His grandmother bought the farm in 1958. Pat’s father, Patrick took over in 1970, and Pat took over in 2014. Pat started to explore a more unconventional approach to farming when he had a major outbreak of mastitis 13 years ago, with 16 cases being treated at one time. Amazingly, he did get on top of the problem, but swore that he would never subject his cows to the same level of antibiotic treatment again. Pat has transformed his herd’s health and fertility while reducing antibiotic use through a homeopathic approach learned over the last 10 years. He is passionate about a naturopathic approach to care for his herd of 90 dairy cows and now leads the way in Ireland and the UK as the homeopath farmer. (follow Pat on Facebook & Instagram – The Homeopath Farmer)
In the past year Pat has started to practice the administration of homeopathic remedies for the soil to help heal the soil and grow his crops.
He could probably claim to have grown Ireland’s first ever homeopathic whole crop of peas & barley with no chemical inputs.
Pat is also the National Rep for WHAg (www.wholehealthag.org). Why not have a look at their self-paced online course at learning.wholehealthag.org.
